Guests say

Bryn Eira Stables is a spacious and well-equipped cottage in Anglesey, appreciated for its large kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and private swimming pool. The property is ideal for families and large groups, offering separate spaces for relaxation and socialising. Guests have enjoyed the convenient location, the warm pool, and the additional games room. While some guests reported issues with cleanliness and maintenance, these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with a few exceptions reporting issues with cleanliness, such as dog hairs and a musty smell in one room. The majority of reviews, however, do not mention significant cleanliness problems, suggesting that these incidents are not widespread.

The location is highly praised for being convenient, with easy access to local shops and attractions. The proximity to both Anglesey and North Wales makes it a great base for exploring the area. The majority of guests were satisfied with the location, finding it ideal for their needs.

Guests generally found the property comfortable, with spacious rooms and cosy living areas. Some mentioned uneven flooring and steps as quirks, but overall, the comfort of the property was well-received, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and warm pool.

While many guests were happy with the facilities, including the pool and games room, there were several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken furniture and appliances. Due to these mixed reports, a precise score cannot be accurately determined without further information.

The property owners provided thoughtful touches like welcome gifts and were responsive to guests' needs. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

Also from the kitchen you can reach the downstairs large shower room, where there is a loo, wash basin, walk in shower and heated towel rail. The back door to the garden is found in this short corridor too. Bryn Eira Stables is a holiday house in LlanfairPG (as the locals call it!) and it’s just off the A55. This makes it an ideal base for exploring all that Anglesey and wider North Wales has to offer. The village has two pubs, a Spar, Co-Op, and a petrol garage, meaning you don’t have to stray far for the essentials!

If there are more than ten in your party you can also rent out The Tack Room (1008818) which sleeps 4 and is around the same courtyard.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.

The only issue which would occur in especially in winter is that the upper lounge and the entrance area gets very cold even if heating is on.
