Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Several guests found the property clean and comfortable, but others reported issues such as inadequate deep cleaning, mould in showers, and missed details like leftover items in furniture. The location of the property is stunning. However, the standard of the interior was unacceptable. It felt unloved and dirty. The top floor bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress was stained and without a cover, also the bedding did not fit properly. The dryer did not work. The WiFi did not work. The majority of the window blinds were faulty or broken, and none of them were fit for purpose, as they did not block out daylight. The TV was resting precariously on a makeshift stand put together with with a tv stand that was too small and a lamp table resting on a book - very dangerous for children. The freezer did not open - it was so iced up the drawers were broken and could not move, so it was unusable.

We have stayed in this property before and would again, but it’s booked up for 2027.Plumbing problem was promptly dealt with by the owner last week, who was most helpful.HoweverWe couldn’t use the freezer as it badly needs defrosting. Drawers wouldn’t open.Stripped the master bedroom bedding as requested. No mattress protector and the stains were quite unpleasant.Instruction and equipment books badly need tidying and updating

We all really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely stunning location, watching the tides changing the view from the balconies and wide windows. A spacious building, very well equipped kitchen (apart from a faulty microwave). Nice welcome pack, wine and Bara Brith.3 bedrooms have sea views, the bunk room is at the back, but gives the advantage of not having sunrise blasting through the inadequate blinds. Beds comfortable apart from bunks, they need mattress toppers at least. The top floor en suite bedroom has its own balcony, and is delightful luxury. The furnishings are classically stylish, leather seating, lots of useful cushions, nice rugs; we liked the paintings. Lots of stairs, as the kitchen, living rooms are on the first floor. Bedrooms on ground floor REALLY need replacement blinds/curtains, as they are at street level. In one room the blind was broken, and wouldn't close. Unacceptable really, one guest woke to find someone looking into her bedroom from the street! It's on the Coast Path, there are people passing on foot all hours. Our only complaint, otherwise we loved the house. Would be good to have blankets available in the bedrooms, bedding is very lightweight, & we had frosty mornings. (2 in living room, presumably for balcony).Fire doors clanking shut were like bullet shots, need earplugs for a lie in.Lovely pub, minutes walk away, great food and staff, Ship Inn. Coast walks fantastic, sandy beach just round corner. Check tide tables! Would come again.
