On Anglesey's north-eastern shore, a little, charming village called Pentraeth may be found by the banks of the River Nodwydd. It is situated between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which offers more than 4.5 miles of sandy coastline, and features a town chapel that goes back to the 12th century. The Welsh name for Red Wharf Bay is Traeth Coch (Red Beach), and it is well known for its spectacular sunsets.
