The National Botanic Gardens of Wales has the world's largest single span glasshouse and is home to the British Bird of Prey Centre. Also the charming Aberglasney Gardens are only 9 miles away as you travel up the beautiful Tywi Valley. The Gwili Steam Railway is a must, taking you back in time on a journey to remember. Make your way to Llansteffan for a day at the beach with a picnic or higher up in the impressive castle ruins. Or head to Laugharne where you can learn about the life of Dylan Thomas with his Writing Shed and the poet's former house, now a charming museum.
