Guests have enjoyed stays at Maes-Yr-Adwy, appreciating its tranquil and rural setting ideal for stargazing and relaxation. The traditional furnishings and wood burning stove add to the cosy atmosphere. The property's isolation is seen as a positive, with a local pub offering friendly service and good food. Despite some minor issues with amenities and Wi-Fi reliability, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.
The location is highly praised for its quietness, dark skies suitable for stargazing, and picturesque village setting. Its rural and isolated nature is appreciated, although the distance to supermarkets and the local pub's limited opening days are noted.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a wood burning stove and traditional furnishings contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some guests found the property to be 'a little well used'.
The property is generally well-equipped with amenities like Wi-Fi, although it is noted to be a bit unreliable. The presence of two fridges and a large freezer is positively mentioned, but the lack of charcoal for the BBQ and no welcome pack were minor drawbacks.

Had a lovely stay for the week, the place was lovely, had everything we needed, and the views were lovely even though it rained most the week. Will definitely be back again at some point

Was a weekend away with friends, nice place to stay. Mountains are about an hour away but are worth going too. Has all the amenities. Would book again.

The house is in a wonderfully, very rural location. Very quiet and brilliant dark skies for star gazing! The house is traditionally furnished and generally well equipped. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove. The nearest supermarkets are some distance away, but two fridges and a large freezer means that this is not a problem. The pubs in the village and in Brechfa are well worth visiting.
