Wide open landscapes remain relatively undiscovered and thankfully, totally undeveloped. The 5800 hectares of Brechfa Forest on the doorstep, offer expeditions a plenty: Way marked routes take walkers from thick conifer plantations, over gushing streams to vast open vistas and the residues of ancient woodland. The mountain bike trails offer adventure for all abilities: The Derwen Trail provides a great introduction to the sport for families and novices, while the black graded, Raven Trail will put even the most experienced to the test. We really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, comfortable holiday home. Its in a very peaceful setting with lots of places to visit nearby. We would definitely stay at Ty Bach if we visit the area again.

Our second visit to Ty Bach was just as enjoyable as our first visit. We love the area and the peace and quiet there. The owners are lovely people, very welcoming and helpful. The beach and amenities are reasonably near; Carmarthen Town has a good range of shops and eating places suitable for everyone. A visit to Aberglasney Gardens is well worth a visit if flowers and plants are enjoyed.
