Stepping inside this beautifully presented single-storey lodge, you’re welcomed into a bright and spacious open-plan living area designed with relaxation in mind. The well-equipped kitchen features everything you need for a stress-free stay, including a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, while the dining area provides a lovely spot to gather and enjoy home-cooked meals together. The inviting sitting area is the perfect place to cosy up after a day of exploring, with plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV for movie nights, and an electric fire adding a warm glow as you take in the wonderful river views beyond.
The lodge offers two thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, comprising a comfortable double room and a flexible twin. The double bedroom benefits from its own en-suite, complete with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail for that extra touch of comfort, while the twin room includes both a single and a large single bed, making it ideal for both children and adults. A separate family bathroom, with a bath and shower over, basin and WC, serves the rest of the accommodation.
Outside, the enclosed veranda is a real highlight, offering a peaceful spot to sit back with a morning coffee or an evening drink while listening to the gentle flow of the river. Alternatively, visit The Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran where you may see badgers, otters, buzzards and even deer, or why not explore Cilgerran Castle?
