The Mill and Stable is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its warmth, character, and suitability for large groups, including those with disabled guests. The property's location offers a peaceful countryside experience with convenient access to South Wales attractions. Guests have appreciated the thoughtful welcome packs and the owner's helpfulness.
Most guests found the property clean and comfortable. There was a single mention of needing to clean the oven and the presence of flies, which is common in rural areas, but these were isolated comments within overall positive feedback.
The property's location is generally praised for its beautiful countryside views and proximity to local attractions, although it is noted to be somewhat isolated and hilly, which may be a consideration for some visitors.
Guests have consistently noted the property's warmth and cosiness, with special mention of the comfortable beds and spaciousness, which contributed to a pleasant stay for families and large groups.
The facilities, particularly for disabled guests, are highly regarded, with mentions of a wet room, adjustable care bed, and the availability of additional equipment. Some minor suggestions for improvements were made, but overall, the facilities met the needs of the guests.
While guests have expressed gratitude for the welcome packs, there is insufficient information to determine if such thoughtfulness is a consistent practice, and as such, it cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

Tracy
It was perfect for a family gathering with a large communal space but also lots of bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. Itâs practical with wood flooring/ leather furnishings so pet friendly and easy to keep clean. Wet room is great. The location was perfect if you have a car and I walked into Laugharne with the dogs. Weâd jump at the chance to stay again. Loved the back courtyard, although our mini cockapoo could jump the wall, and if it had a private area of grass for the dogs it would have been perfect. We kept dogs on the leads out in grassy area out of respect as it is a shared area. That wouldnât put us off coming back at all though. Friendly and welcoming owner and really well equipped.
