Perfect location, with days of off road walking on the door step and just the most beautiful scenery. Dogs had an absolute ball, as did we. Thank you Caroline for being a great host. We can't wait to come back!

The owner is very friendly and laid-back and Waun Fforest cottage is very comfortable, remote and quiet, especially at night. The facilities are generally ok. The beds are comfortable as is the lounge but this is let down by the fact that the cooker is quite old, the WiFi is confusing and the heating cannot be controlled from the cottage (this made drying clothes difficult when out all day). Also having the kitchen upstairs took some getting used to and the lounge was hardly used as a result. The welcome pack needs more up to date information about the cottage itself and it's workings, including user manuals for the equipment. All in all though this was a good base to travel around South and West Wales and we had a great holiday.
