This fabulous third floor Penthouse suite adjoining reference 23391, has spectacular sea views and is situated on the Carmarthen Coastal Path, with peaceful walks and cycling from the door. Furnished to a very good standard, this is a wonderful holiday base. The Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, 1 mile, and Pembrey Country Park and race circuit is half an hour’s drive. The stunning Gower Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its sandy beaches, bays and coves is easily reached. Within easy driving are the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 200 yards.

There is a refundable security deposit of £250 payable 2 weeks prior to your holiday, by BACs. This will be returned once the property has been checked. If your booking is imminent please pay the security deposit as soon as possible after making your booking.
Please note: There is building work currently taking place on this property until November. Access to the small balcony on the bedroom is out of order but the work will not affect the large balcony. Working hours take place from 8am - 4:30pm.

We really enjoyed staying at BeachView. The owner was very helpful and the accomodation was great in a lovely location. Plenty to do in the area with stunning views. We hope to visit again.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and significantly affected our family holiday.We chose this apartment mainly for the views. We were informed before arrival about the scaffolding, but were reassured that it would mainly affect the bedrooms and not significantly affect the lounge. In reality, the scaffolding obstructed the master bedroom and lounge views, while early-morning drilling and workers outside our bedroom windows seriously affected our privacy. None of this was explained to us beforehand.The condition of the apartment was another major issue. We found significant dust, cobwebs, dirty kitchen surfaces, greasy crockery, a dirty oven(months worth dirt), a toaster with old crumbs, a heavily burnt and dirty kettle ( we had to buy a new one the next day) and mould/dirt behind the TV in master bedroom. As I have asthma and a dust allergy, the dust caused my symptoms to flare up and I needed my inhaler repeatedly that evening.Owners described the cleaning as “not up to scratch” and said it was fixed the next day. We feel this significantly understates what happened. We spent the first evening of our holiday cleaning the property ourselves so that it was suitable for our family. The property manager came the following day, but by then we had already cleaned many areas ourselves. She removed some cobwebs but acknowledged that the oven required professional cleaning and that some areas had not been properly looked after for some time.There were also obvious signs of existing wear and poor maintenance. Some kitchen cupboard slats were coming away and had been held in place with visible nails, while others were chipped and damaged. The clothes airer was also broken and repaired with tape. This was particularly disappointing given that we were required to pay high damage deposit, despite there already being visible pre-existing damage and wear.What disappointed us most was the lack of a genuine apology and the feeling that the owners' financial interests were prioritised over the guest experience. Owners offered small amount of compensation as a gesture of goodwill, which we do not feel reflects what happened. Also, we have still not received it. We understand that holiday accommodation can have the occasional hiccup. We have stayed in many holiday properties and have never felt the need to make a complaint of this scale before. We do not expect perfection, but this experience was on another level.The combination of poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, construction noise, loss of privacy, obstructed views and the time we spent cleaning took away a significant part of what should have been a relaxing family holiday.Sadly, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.
