We spent a week in the cottage and really enjoyed our stay. The children loved being close to the animals and the surroundings are beautiful. It is in a fairly remote location, but basic amenities are a short drive away. If you are looking for somewhere to escape from the busyness of life, then this is ideal. As it says in the ad, it is an 18th century cottage and it has retained it's character. It took a bit of getting used to for 2 teenage girls. The kitchen is the only part that it relatively modern. The owners of the cottage were great, really friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the bathroom light and it was all sorted really quickly. We would definitely return in the future.
