Guests say

Glendower is a homely and comfortable cottage praised for its excellent location in Aberaeron, close to local amenities and offering enjoyable walks. Guests appreciate the warm welcome and the property's suitability for families, though some noted areas needing maintenance.

The cottage is generally well-received, but one review mentioned the need for a deep clean in the shower area due to limescale and mould, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is consistently highlighted as perfect, very good, and close to local amenities, making it a strong point for Glendower.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the house warm and welcoming. However, concerns about the stairs for those with mobility issues slightly affect the comfort score.

The property offers a range of facilities and equipment, but some reviews point out maintenance issues like heating problems and the need for updates, indicating that facilities could be better maintained.

The mention of a welcoming bottle of wine suggests thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this should be considered a pleasant addition rather than an expectation.

We had a lovely time despite the weather. There are lots to do and places to go.the cottage has lots to offer for everyone. I always love the sit out on the bench when ever the weather is nice.

We stayed for a long weekend in Sept 25. The house is a roomy and comfortable with all the equipment required. There are even some old games which we had fun with and a quirky outside loo which is useful. The location is perfect for Aberaeron too. When we arrived as we had two elderly ladies, we needed the heating on, unfortunately the heating fired up but didn't keep going. The owner responded very quickly with the heating engineering turning up on the weekend and sorted for us. We enjoyed out stay and would recommend Glendower

Great size cottage if you have a family with everything you need available. Bed comfortable as was the one lounge we used. There are 2 available and a large dinning room. Be aware of the stairs if you have any family with mobility issues as there are no downstairs toilets. The bathroom is a good size but the shower needs a deep clean with limescale and mold cleaner. Also replacing the door, that doesn't shut in middle (regards of the sign to shut it properly), and the very yellow stained rubbers would help. Cottage is close to all the local amenities and it's a lovely town with a range of shops, including a large cost cutters, and cafés. The Feathers pub which you can see from the front door is great for being the only place we found that allows the dog indoors which was great as the weather wasn't conjusice for sitting outside on some days but book for the Sunday carvery as it is popular.
