We love Crug Y Felin, beautiful area, very remote. Lovely cottage, clean and tidy. Very peaceful, the cottage fulfils a lot of roles and would be perfect for a family. Secure garden, spectacular views. The lanes around are very narrow but Newport worth a visit. . We just enjoyed being quiet. It took me a few days to get used to the Aga. We have booked again for next year

First week of March and nature has been active. A pair of red kites most mornings could be viewed enjoying the sky towards the sea attracting "off our patch" tactics from gulls and Jackdaws. All accompanied by a morning message being drummed out by the local woodpecker. Meanwhile down in the cove periwinkles entwined themselves as the tide ebbed away and in the small hours of the morning the constellation of the "plough" could be observed virtually filling the bathrooms skylight. Thank you nature, you have filled our eyes with amazement. All possible by this lovely cottage. A "personal art gallery," local artists and across the world waits inside this relaxing home. The windiness/slowness of the roads (out of season) added tranquil alignment to our holiday's wall to wall relaxation

Excellent holiday home. Warm and clean. Surprised that there was no hand rail for the stairs. The stairs are not steep but when you are carrying a heavy case up the stairs at the end of a days travelling a hand rail is somewhat essential. Gardens were fine for our dog but they are not enclosed.
