Delyn Aur is a charming cottage with stunning sea views and proximity to the beach, offering a comfortable stay with a newly refurbished bathroom. The property's location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, including a basket of goodies, and the property's potential once updates are completed.
The cleanliness of the property has received mixed feedback. Several guests have noted issues with dust, dirt, and a need for a deep clean, particularly in the kitchen and living areas. However, some guests found the bedding and towels to be of a high standard.
The location is consistently lauded for its breathtaking sea views and proximity to the beach and local amenities. Guests have enjoyed the peaceful setting and the convenience of nearby attractions.
Guests have found the beds comfortable and the central heating efficient. The new bathroom has been well-received. However, some guests have suggested that the living space could be improved for greater comfort.
The facilities have been met with approval and criticism. The new bathroom is a highlight, but the kitchen and general maintenance are noted as areas needing improvement. The presence of moths and dated decor have been mentioned by several reviewers.
Many guests have expressed gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as the welcome basket and prepared fire in the log burner. These gestures have been appreciated, although it is noted that such amenities may not be guaranteed for every stay.
This detached single storey 'colonial-style' bungalow, built in the 1950s, provides an idyllic holiday location, being just a short distance from the Blue Flag Tresaith beach. There is a range of facilities on offer, a café, shop, the Ship Inn and public toilets all within a stone’s throw of the beach and are requisites to be awarded a Blue Flag.
The beach has golden sand, a waterfall and is flanked by dramatic cliffs. Children love exploring the rock pools exposed at low tide on either end of the beach. Coastal walks lead you to more sandy beaches at Penbryn, Aberporth and Llangrannog.
Cardigan Bay is famous for its resident bottlenose dolphins and you may be lucky enough to spot them from the beach at Tresaith or a little further up the coast at New Quay, where you can go on dolphin spotting boat trips and be rarely disappointed of a sighting.
Tresaith is a pretty, bustling seaside village sitting on the stunning Ceredigion coastline. Benefitting from a popular local pub and shop, it is just one of many gems dotted along the coast. Tresaith is equidistant from Aberporth and Llangrannog, both equally attractive bays, and worth a walk along the extensive coastal path that stretches away in both directions. Tresaith offers the opportunity to see an abundance of flora and fauna, and to glimpse some of Ceredigion Bay’s resident dolphins and grey seals. The popular town of Cardigan is a few miles away, and there is plenty of beautiful countryside and coastline to explore. A perfect location to while away a few days of relaxation.

The view is to die for and we saw some pods of dolphins from the lounge. The property is more or less on the beach which was lovely and clean. I watched it come light with a coffee sat on the patio most mornings. It is perfect to get away from all the stress of modern life. We loved the welcome pack (bread, butter, milk, marmalade, waffles) and found every thing else to be fine. I can't think of anything more we could have needed. Tea,coffee and sugar starter pack was also included. Another bonus was the log fire as we have one at home. This was alongside the central heating. It was cosy and gave a lovely atmosphere to the place. The pub is literally a 2 minute walk for food but most days I enjoyed cooking myself. I would definitely book to visit again hopefully next spring.

It would in someways be a shame to modernise this lovely place. It has so much charm
