About this property

This charming, single storey cottage rests in a collection of superb cottages, three miles from the market town of Cardigan. Ty Coed translates to ‘treehouse’ however it sits firmly across the ground floor. Wonderfully appointed throughout, Ty Coed provides a charming retreat for families looking to recharge their batteries in this wonderful region of Wales. Beyond the nautical blue walls rests a splendid, open-plan living area, a lovely space where all can gather to enjoy a show on the TV or a moment by the fire. Allow the designated chef to rustle up a dish in the kitchen, utilising an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher, so there’s no need to lift a finger when washing up! Unload your personal belongings in the bedrooms, with a double and twin bedded for choice, serviced by a spacious bathroom with large wet room shower and bath. To the outside, Ty Coed benefits from its own private barbecue area, perfect for a summer's afternoon, plus there’s a hot tub from which you can enjoy a soothing soak after a day of walking. Providing a charming base in Ceredigion, choose Ty Coed. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1102977, 1103099, 1103102, 1109263, 1109264 and 1109265, together they sleep 31.

Cardigan, in Ceredigion, is a thriving market town on the River Teifi with a diverse range of businesses, including both distinctive local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, taverns, restaurants, and a beautiful ruined castle. Beautiful landscape surrounds Cardigan, and the rocky Pembrokeshire coastline is only a few miles away. You may go horseback riding at the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre, or visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, which has magnificent Blue Flag sandy beaches like the National Trust beach Mwnt. You can also go on a boat ride to see dolphins and seals. Take a ride on the National Cycle Route, Number 82, if you're a keen cyclist. The Preseli Mountains, which are close by, provide excellent walking and cycling opportunities, as well as breathtaking vistas and an ancient stone monument. Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo, and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as a variety of castles, mills, and craft centres, are all within driving distance. Cardigan is a great place to start your explorations of this region of Wales.

The cottage, pool, grounds, playground etc were all wonderfully maintained - credit to the owners for always keeping everything picture perfect. Our kids (5 and 8 years old) would have happily spent each day just playing around the cottages, so there’s plenty to keep the young ones happy. The location is within easy reach of Cardigan and a number of lovely beaches (our personal favourite was Mwnt Beach).

Our dog loved it almost as much as us (when we weren't in the heated outdoor swimming pool or hot tub)!! Would defo recommend this "home from home" cottage, for good memories and chilled out times.

Every picture the summary of the bungalow does not do it justice. The maintenance of the property is top notch and so are the grounds. The pool is disabled friendly it has steps and is lovely and warm. Both pool and hot tub is tested daily this gives peace of mind. There is a Sunday car boot right opposite the lane if you like car boots!!.Claire and Jamie are brilliant nothing is to much. It’s like going to far flung heaven then you leave and come back down to earth. The beaches in the are safe and dog friendly and so is the bungalow with a dog field which is secure. The towns do operate Sunday closure and half day Wednesday. There are loads of big supermarkets close by. This place is amazing and if. you want a relaxing holiday this is the place, and totally disabled friendly and a full working kitchen.
