Newcastle Emlyn 3 miles. This spacious detached house is situated in extensive grounds in a rural location just three miles from Newcastle Emlyn in west Wales. The size of the property makes it ideal for a family or group of friends to get together for a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful countryside. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen which boasts an Aga where you can cook meals to enjoy in the dining room which benefits from spectacular views over the countryside and mountains in the distance. Then you have the choice of relaxing in a sitting room that features a smart TV, DVD and a woodburner or getting competitive in the games room that comes complete with a pool table and TV. There are six bedrooms spread over the two floors. A double and a twin can be found downstairs, and there are two singles and two kings upstairs, one of which boasts an en-suite shower room. Whilst we only used the utility room for entry and exit, the smell of paint brush cleaner was unpleasant. Heating was good, but the placement of the large sofas in front of the radiators meant warmth from them was compromised.
