Really loved our stay in this lovely peaceful cottage situated in beautiful surroundings. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. View from the deck in the garden was breathtaking. Our only feedback is that the bed needs a new mattress as it was quite uncomfortable.

This cottage is a bit of a mixed bag. I will start with the positives. New Quay is a beautiful place and the views from the look out in the garden are amazing. The grounds are well kept and we had lovely weather so enjoyed using the outdoor space. The kitchen is great with a big fridge/freezer and the shower is very powerful. There is also lots of storage everywhere. The house was cleaned to a decent standard. The negatives- on arrival we found the house surrounded by other holiday homes. On the first night we were kept awake by drunk people screaming at gone 1am. We discovered the washing machine and dryer had been removed from the utility. As this was advertised as included, we had not brought enough clothes and had to purchase more or find a laundrette. If this had been communicated prior to the holiday we would have packed more. The bed in the main bedroom is not suitable, the springs have gone and there is a big dip in the bed. My husband and I did not sleep well the whole week. The main bedroom also had a strong smell of urine (the side by the door). If these things were rectified it would be a perfect base although due to these issues we would not return.
