New Quay, famed for its tranquil fishing harbour and connections to the late welsh poet Dylan Thomas, is just a 10-minute walk downhill and provides a good selections of cafes, traditional Welsh pubs and restaurants, as well as its lovely beach. A visit to the resort would not be complete without a memorable boat ride from the harbour, along the picturesque coastline cruising close to rare seabirds, grey seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. The charming regency town of Aberaeron with its multi-coloured houses and university town of Aberystwyth are within easy reach and provide an interesting day out.

An excellent barn conversion. Clean, comfortable, cozy, and sympathetically decorated. Everything you could need was provided. Situated above Newquay, with a couple of steep footpaths into the town, a 15 minutes walk.

The location description was not clear, very narrow single track road to the property which was not really suitable for large MPV, only 2 of these narrow roads to reach the property. The property sat on a small estate of stone built houses which were mostly private owned. The property itself was very big and well laid out, good accommodation, but required some general maintenance, ie painting, bathroom required a makeover due to mould being present around the sink and shower, grouting broken away in places.General maintenance of the area was run down, with building materials laying around, grounds unkept, recycling area looking like it hadn't been seen too or collected for some time.There was a laundry room provided but was in use by family members living on the site and was not looked after.

Good solid cottage and New Quay is a lovely little resort.Location a bit tricky for walk to and from townWould benefit from a refresh - bed linen, towels, pots and pans.
