We were a family of 6 ranging 5-75 plus one dog. Downstairs bedroom and walk in shower was a must for one disabled person. Very spacious rooms, a couple of kingside beds would be preferable however doubles were ok and comfy. Did find the quilts to be very heavy but that’s down to personal preferences. The showers are powerful. Loads of kitchen equipment, maybe a couple of large baking trays would be handy unless we didn’t find them?Lots of parking space however a bit tight trying to get through the stone pillars. Beach and harbour are within walking distance but a steep upward climb back!! So save a bit of energy for that. Lots of lovely beaches around, also recommend the dolphins boat trip, kite feeding near Aberystwyth, Devils bridge, Elan valley dams and so much more. Local Chinese, fish n chips and Pizza/Kebab were really good. All in all we had a great holiday here and would recommend it.

It was a lovely cottage with beautiful views. However it wasn't as clean as we expected it to be. We asked for the sheets to be changed after the first night and found quite a lot of spider webs in the bathrooms. It had large bedrooms but three of the four bedrooms would have benefited with king size beds to make sleeping, especially in the summer, easier. Most of the duvets supplied were for winter use. My husband and I visited with my son and daughter-in-law and we all struggled sleeping on the double beds. My daughter-in-law is in a wheelchair so I called before we booked to ask about accessibility. I was told it had access. However, she couldn't get in the front door as there was a large pot on the side of the step stopping her using that entrance. Thankfully she could get in the house using the back entrance although that was not easy due to the high sill on that door. The downstairs bathroom was also not accessible as there was a towel rail behind the door so she couldn't open the door fully to get her wheelchair in through the door. The stool in the shower for her to use was at the far end of the shower so she couldn't it. We were disappointed that she had to struggle when she was there especially as I had checked ahead of time regarding accessibility.

Location and size of property was perfect, the house was just right for us and had everything we needed though would have benefited from an outdoor dining table and chairs and maybe a kingsize bed in at least one of the bedrooms. We all felt there could have been a little more detail to the cleanliness on arrival though it wasn’t bad. We would recommend this property
