This wonderful residence is set in the heart of the picture perfect countryside. The property is also within walking distance of the magnificent Three Cliffs Bay. Make a visit to The Gower Heritage Centre, a museum built around a 12th century watermill which is within a ten minute walk from the property. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). A traditional hunting lodge in a wonderfully unspoilt location close to the beach. Accommodating 51 guests between the main residence and separate cabin within the grounds, this opulent Victorian home is approached by a mile long drive that meanders through ancient woodland. As you enter this wonderful residence the first room you enter is the reception room which boasts grand proportions and an abundance of original charm, with large roaring fireplaces, wood panelling and full length windows. Off the formal reception area, you will find the formal dining area which sits 50 to enjoy a home cooked meal plus an added separate bar area to enjoy a glass of wine. To complete downstairs reception area, you will find a light and airy conservatory which can accommodate 26 dining guests with doors leading out to the grounds. When you re not enjoying a feast fit for a King in the dining room or whiling away the hours with a good book in the sunny conservatory you can enjoy cooking up a feast in the professional kitchen which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Just off the main reception areas you will find the ground floor bedrooms one family room with queen size bed and two single beds with en suite shower room, one double with en suite shower, one family room to accommodate six with king size bed and two bunk beds with en suite shower and bath, one queen size bedroom with single bed with en suite shower and the further one queen size bedroom with en suite shower this will complete the ground floor sleeping quarters. As you head up the L Shape staircase to the first floor you will find an array of bedrooms, to start is the spacious suite with king size bed, en suite bathroom and added lounge area for comfort as you head along the corridor you will find one deluxe king size bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower over bath, one deluxe zip and link bedroom (which can be requested as twin at time of booking) with en suite shower room, three double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, two queen zip and link bedrooms ( can be requested as twins at time of booking) with en suite shower rooms, two triple bedrooms with queen double beds and further single beds with en suite shower, one family room with queen double bed and two single beds with en suite shower room and to complete the first floor sleeping quarter you will find the triple room with double bed with one single bed with en suite bathroom. All of these bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and boast charm and character. In addition to the main residence there is a separate cabin which is located 200 metres away from the main house and includes two bedrooms one double and one zip and link bedroom (made as a double unless requested as a twin at time of booking) with an added shower room and lounge area. Heading outside you have trout and carp ponds, beautifully kept gardens which are a haven for wildlife and extend to six acres.
