The Mill House is an elegant Edwardian house which offers spacious and modern accommodation in a peaceful setting, close to the River Dee in North Wales. Set at the gathering point of five rivers, amongst stunning North Wales countryside, is the charming market town of Corwen. The house had loads of space and the garden was amazing and perfect for the children and dogs. The addition of a BBQ was great as were the unexpected collection of games and jigsaws found in the living room. The house itself was beautiful offering plenty of comfortable space for everyone. We did have a problem with the hot water on one day of the holiday but we contacted the lovely Alison (as the house information pack advised) and it was sorted out within the hour. The only thing that we noticed was that the bathrooms were a little tired. The shower head in the main bathroom was a little loose which resulted in water having to be mopped up regularly and the toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom was very loose. Also the lights above the mirrors upstairs and downstairs were out as was the wall light in the downstairs bedroom. Probably not something that would be noticed when you were cleaning between guests but maybe could be mentioned in if a visitors book was provided. Also the addition of a dust pan to go with the floor brush would have made it easier to sweep up the inevitable dust and bits that appear without having to get out the Henry Hoover. These are small issues that didnât detract from a great holiday location.

The house was comfortable for 3 families and is well equipped. The garden was perfect for the children and dogs to run around in. We will be back!
