Crogen Bryn Awel is an exquisite Grade II listed detached holiday cottage, the view from which is stunning with a panoramic outlook across the Upper Dee Valley. This is one of the most attractive valleys in the UK. As part of the 2,500-acre Crogen Estate, there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed such as walking and sightseeing with fishing and tennis by arrangement, and for the more adventurous, paint balling and high ropes. Golf can be found locally. Within 1½ miles there is an outstanding restaurant, pub and village shop. Bala Lake is only a short drive away and the sandy beaches of west Wales’ coastline are approximately 45 minute drive. Llangollen is a nearby town with its horse drawn barges, steam train and numerous festivals throughout the year. Shop 1½ miles.

Comfortable cottage, we had lovely weather. The cottage was clean, but a few minor points had been overlooked, but nothing serious.

If you like piece, quiet and seclusion this is the cottage for you, the views are outstanding and theirs plenty of space to park a car. There's a narrow country lane to get to the cottage if you enter the lane from Bala side it takes about 5 minutes.i used this route all the time, and coming from this way there is a yellow salt box at the turn into the lane that I found helpful as a marker point.
