With Offa’s Dyke Path on your doorstep, the cottage is particularly well placed for walkers. Discover the beautiful Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, formerly known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its rolling hills, scenic trails and far-reaching views.
Inside, exposed stonework gives the sitting room its distinctive character, creating a comfortable place to unwind after a day exploring. Enjoy a relaxed evening with the cottage’s two smart TVs, or stay connected using the fast Wi-Fi. Oil-fired central heating makes this a cosy retreat throughout the year.
The kitchen and dining area provides everything needed for a self-catering stay, including a gas range cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with space to gather over breakfast or an evening meal.
The two bedrooms comprise a king-size room and a twin room, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. A family bathroom completes the accommodation, with bed linen and towels included.
Outside, guests have access to the owners’ neighbouring field for enjoying the countryside and exercising their dog. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and off-road parking is available for two cars. The owners live in the neighbouring farmhouse and are on hand if you need assistance or local advice, while respecting your privacy.
The nearby Dinorben Arms in Bodfari is a lovely option for a meal out. Caerwys, Denbigh and Ruthin offer further opportunities to explore local shops, historic streets and places to eat, with Denbigh Castle and Ruthin’s heritage attractions making enjoyable days out.
Convenient access to the A55 also makes the cottage a useful base for exploring further afield. Enjoy a coastal outing to Conwy and its marina, visit Llandudno, or discover the beaches and seaside towns along the North Wales coast before returning to your countryside retreat.

Denbigh dates back to the 11th century and boasts the remains of a 13th century castle, perched on a steep hill above the town and commanding some superb views over the surrounding countryside. Denbigh is a busy little town, with a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the Denbigh Plum Festival, and a monthly People's market. Within easy reach of Denbigh are the cathedral at St Asaph, the seaside resorts of Prestatyn or Llandudno, and the historic city of Chester, over the border into England. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with its stunning lakes, mountains, walking and cycling, while the Lleyn Peninsula and excellent beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip. Plenty to see and do at any time of the year!
