Well what can I say second visit to ydol and once again perfect the cottage is so cozy with everything you possibly need for a great stay. Comfy beds with selection of pillows a forget me not box incase you forgot a toothbrush or plasters etc and the delicious lemon cake and welcome basket. A great selection of tea and coffee also supplied a percolator and airfryer also provided and a wonderful log burner. The local pub is very welcoming and friendly aswell as a small shop and post office near by. We drove out to some beautiful walks aswell as some fantastic castles not far (the one used for I'm a celeb few years ago is 20 mins away). Finally Down to the lovely Sue who on both our visits had been there to welcome us and is at the end of the phone for any issues or to give advice on places to visit aswell as the reasonable prices charged for such a beautiful home I wouldn't hesitate to book again... here's to next time!

We stayed at Y Ddol for 4 nights over Christmas and we loved the cosy feel of the cottage. The surrounding fields with the horse and sheep and the river running alongside added to the charm. Sue the owner was at the cottage on our arrival to show us around where she had the fire going and a basket of local goodies waiting for us. We didn't really go to this location to explore but we did some local walks and also slightly further afield. A walk at Colwyn Bay on boxing day and a visit to Conwy for a cream tea / ice cream which everyone enjoyed. Sue also checked on with us by text the next day to check if we needed anything and it was nice to know that if we had needed any assistance it wasn't far away. Thank you Sue :)

A beautiful home set in some of the most beautiful scenery. Incredible standard of cleanliness, host was there to welcome us to show us how everything worked, a fire was lit & a wonderful welcome basket greeted us. Beds were incredibly comfortable, every small detail was catered for. All in all we had a 10/10 experience & we would highly recommend Y Ddol ☺️
