Dee Bank Cottage in Llangollen is highly praised for its stunning views, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the charming character, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches like provided soaps and towels. The balcony overlooking the river is a highlight, offering a serene experience despite some noting the challenge of parking and lack of a TV licence.
Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and well-maintained, with ample bath towels and soaps provided, indicating a high level of cleanliness.
The location is described as fantastic, with breathtaking views and proximity to local activities and attractions. The presence of a nearby train and river adds to the charm, though some guests found the river noisy with open windows.
Guests report the cottage as spacious, comfortable, and cosy, suitable for families and groups of adults. The property's comfort is enhanced by its balcony and charming features.
While the property is well-equipped and guests are satisfied with the amenities, there is a mention of parking difficulties and the absence of a TV licence, which prevents a full score. No specific reviews detail the state of maintenance, so this score cannot be accurately provided.
The provision of essentials such as dish cloths, tea towels, and bath soaps shows thoughtfulness. A bottle of wine left by the owner is a kind gesture, though such gifts should not be expected with every stay.

The views and location are fantastic. The train running days were lovely to witness. The river, wonderful to watch was noisy when the windows were open. However parking at the property was very challenging for our medium car (Nissan Juke) and may have been so even before the new wall was built. Guests are asked to put the bins out. This required moving the car off the driveway to get them past .The welcome folder advised there is no TV licence covering the property, not great if you don't have subscription TV or had planned to binge on a BBC iPlayer series.Contact with the owner was easy and they responded quickly.

This property was overwhelmingly satisfying for me and my family. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view is breathtaking. Plus, we really enjoyed access to local activities. We plan to book this property again as it was a restful and rejuvenating experience.
