The Summer House offers a private, picturesque setting with stunning gardens and a hot tub, ideal for relaxation and exploring North Wales. While some guests found the cottage charming and well-equipped, others noted it could benefit from modernisation and improved cleanliness.
Cleanliness received mixed reviews, with some guests finding the property not entirely clean, mentioning unclean bathrooms and dust. However, others did not comment on cleanliness, suggesting experiences may vary.
The location is highly praised for its privacy, beauty, and convenience for exploring tourist locations. The surrounding gardens and views are consistently appreciated by guests.
Comfort is seen as adequate by some, with a cosy atmosphere and sufficient amenities. However, several guests criticised the quality of the mattresses and heaters, indicating room for improvement.
Facilities like the hot tub are well-received, but maintenance issues with heaters and the non-smart TV were noted. The coin-operated electricity system was also a point of contention for some guests.
There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this score cannot be determined.

The summer house is in the best and most private place you could ask for, really pretty surrounding so 10/10 for area and surroundings. However the cottage was smaller than I thought it would be however the hot tub and views made up for it. The cottage itself is cute however it is very very dated and the bathroom was not entirely clean, did find a few hairs on the floor and in the shower. The heaters provided are cheap electrical ones which did consume a lot of electricity, considering you have to pay for the electric via coins in the meter was not ideal. Also two out of the four heaters worked only which was inconvenient. I had read reviews previously about complaints about the bed mattress and the owner replied that they had changed it after feedback. I can say that the mattress was awful and very uncomfortable for me and my wife which ruined the quality of sleep. The other little things such as NO coffee or tea, washing up liquid or pods and the towels provided did smell a little damp. Also the TV was a basic non smart TV which should also be taken into consideration as this should be basic requirement in 2025.Overall the hosts are good and have us our privacy and the area of the cottage are fantastic, however I would not recommend it for the reason that it didn't feel the place was personalised for guests to get settled straight away, had to go Sainsbury's to get washing up items.

Lovely place to stay. Stunning gardens and great location to go exploring across all of north wales. Hosts were friendly and accommodation was good, if a little dated. That said, I’d definitely return there as the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The hot tub was a great added feature though due to its location it collected grit and flies with the weather so we had to move them out before starting it up
