This detached, stone built cottage is set in the small village of Llanasa in North Wales. Recently converted from an old stable, Woodlands is a superb accommodation which welcomes families looking to explore this lovely part of Wales. Set mostly on the ground floor, this cottage enters into a hallway with the well-appointed kitchen to one side, featuring everything you could need for a week long break. Two steps up will take you into the lounge extension, possessing a bright and airy feel with several contemporary touches, including the designer column radiators creating a link between old and new. During mealtimes, gather round the Ercol dining table with your loved ones amidst, before relaxing on the corner sofa, browsing the range of entertainment options from the Smart TV.
There are two bedrooms here, including a king-size double and twin which can be a king size for flexibility, both of which are tastefully furnished with carpeted floors and are served by the family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Sit outside at one of the two patio areas, sipping on a refreshing drink whilst appreciating the rural surroundings. The surrounding area offers many walks and cycle routes, as well as an abundance of alternative activities, especially with the popular seaside town of Prestatyn less than 5 miles away. Prestatyn also offers a Shopping Park and numerous pubs and shops to browse, as well as a sandy beach.
Further afield, the wonderful city of Chester is 25 miles away and is filled with Roman Architecture and an array of quality eateries, whilst the exhilarating Snowdonia National Park is within an hours drive. Woodlands is a superb cottage which is well-placed to enjoy both a rejuvenating and action-packed break to North Wales.
Trelawnyd is one of the ancient parishes of Flintshire, and is situated close to the lovely North Wales coast, four miles from the seaside town of Prestatyn. Within the area are plenty of nearby local walks which offer plenty of opportunity to see the glorious scenery and vistas of the local area. Nearby is the village of Dyserth, which was mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086.

Lovely countryside views and views towards the Wirral and Liverpool in a clear day. A short drive to shops, cafes and rail station. Owners very helpful and available if needed.
