Leading off from the kitchen is a handy utility room housing a washing machine, sink and airer, perfect for those longer stays. Adjacent is the ground floor wet room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Reception rooms consist of a welcoming snug, complete with an inglenook fireplace, woodburning stove, large sofa and three comfortable armchairs, perfect for quiet evenings, and a further sitting room with a large corner sofa, armchairs, Smart TV and a selection of board games and books for your entertainment. Outside is an enclosed garden area, with a large picnic bench for all to sit together. On the first floor, choose between a super-king-size room (zip/link, which can be made into a twin on request), a king-size room with a private en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a double room and a twin room, all with exposed beams. The property also benefits from a sleek bathroom with a bath, handheld shower, walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The local town of Mold is 2.5 miles away and provides a large range of restaurants, pubs and takeaways, together with supermarkets. Each Wednesday and Saturday, there is a busy street market, selling crafts, fresh veg, etc. Theatre goers will appreciate the modern Theatr Clwyd, one of Wales’ foremost theatres. The Butcher's Arms is the Nercwys village pub, about a mile away. Nercwys is an ideal location for those wanting to access country walks such as in Nercwys Forest, Loggerheads Country Park and the nearby Offa’s dyke. Mountain bike trails are at the One Planet Adventure in nearby Llandegla. The village is on the Eastern edge of the Clwydian Range, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its peak Moel Famau, beyond which lies the historic town of Rhuthun (Ruthin) in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, It’s an ideal base to explore North Wales’ coastal towns, castles, and Eryri (Snowdonia), all of which are within an easy drive. A short drive away is the Historic City of Chester, where you can walk along the Roman walls, see the amphitheatre, and a host of artefacts. There is also a vast range of restaurants and shops. Outside the City is Chester Zoo, providing a fun-filled outing for the whole family. All these experiences and more await you when you stay at Isfryn.

The bustling market town of Mold lies in an ideal position for exploring the attractions of North Wales, with excellent access to superb walking and breathtaking scenery. It offers a regular market, a selection of shops, some good pubs and of course Theatre Clwyd, the National Theatre for Wales. Chester is just 16 miles away, with its historic buildings, riverside walks, racecourse and excellent shopping. An excellent touring base for North Wales.
