Ty Cerrig is a well-received cottage in North Wales, praised for its tranquil location, thoughtful touches from the owners, and its suitability as a base for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable, and well-appointed accommodation, with special mentions of the powerful shower and comfortable bed. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found Ty Cerrig to be clean and tidy, with a few noting it as spotless. However, there were some concerns about the need for a deeper clean in certain areas, which slightly lowers the overall cleanliness score.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and proximity to attractions like Chester Zoo and North Wales landmarks. The picturesque setting and easy access to local amenities contribute to a high location score.
The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, highlighting the quality of the bed and the cosiness of the living space. Some discomfort was noted due to the lack of a handrail on the stairs and the sofa's condition, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen and log burner. However, comments about the lack of Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and some maintenance issues indicate room for improvement in this category.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts of Welsh cakes and other essentials. While these gestures are warmly received, it is important to note that such gifts are offered at the owners' discretion and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

It should be clearly stated that it has one bedroom and a sofa bed.

Kitchen well equipped but a bit more attention to cleaning the kitchen cupboards and bathroom required. Bedroom is lovely and bright with a large bed. We were so lucky with the weather and enjoyed our breakfast each day sat on the front watching the world go by. Had some great walks in Nercwys forest with our dog. Just beware of using the sat nav on quickest routes as it took you down some very narrow lanes.
