Guests say

Ceris Lodge is praised for its superb location with stunning views of the Menai Strait, offering a comfortable stay with private parking and a balcony ideal for meals. While some guests experienced maintenance issues, the housekeeper's prompt response and the welcome gestures were appreciated. The property's location is convenient for visiting local attractions and Anglesey.

Guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including a musty smell, dirty windows, and rubbish around the property. However, not all reviews mention cleanliness, suggesting experiences may vary.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and convenience to local attractions and Anglesey, with easy access across the Menai Bridge.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with large beds and a quiet environment conducive to good sleep. However, some guests mentioned dampness and a drafty door, which affected their comfort.

Facilities are well-equipped, but several maintenance issues were reported, such as broken toilet seats and taps. The central heating instructions were incorrect, and there were concerns about dampness.

While some guests appreciated the welcome gestures, such as a bottle of wine, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of thoughtfulness across all stays. It should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

It's a terrific place to stay while on vacation and for touring this stunning island. The well-known Saint Tysilio, who is commemorated in the 15th-century St. Tysilio's Church, lived on Church Island, off the coast of Anglesey, during its long history, which can be learned about in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum. Menai Bridge itself has a good selection of stores, bars, and eateries. The Pili Palas butterfly palace, which is a favourite among families, as well as the breathtaking Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens are just a couple of the attractions that make this a great place for entertainment. Glad to see the loo seat and tap have been repaired from last time. The property is a bit shabby but is made up for in the views over the Straits which we love. Sadly the weather didn't encourage us to sit outside.

Was lovely to sit out on the balcony enjoying the stunning views. Ceris lodge has everything you need for an enjoyable stay our dog also enjoyed. Only a short walk across Menai bridge where there's lots of places to eat and lovely walk around church Island.
