A traditional, stone-built semi-detached cottage, situated in a peaceful and elevated position in the scattered village of Dinorwic, on a mountain opposite Snowdon. Spacious and well equipped, the cottage is ideal for large parties with a roomy kitchen/diner and three bathrooms. There are ground floor facilities and widened doors which are suitable for less able guests and wheelchair users - please phone for further information. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and includes an inglenook fireplace in the sitting room with cosy woodburning stove. There is an attractive, enclosed terraced garden, withgarden furniture and BBQ - perfect for a relaxed family break. Pretty Llanberis with its scenic pass and excellent walking is 5 miles away by car (2 miles on foot), and Anglesey, with its many sandy beaches, is only half an hour's drive. An excellent retreat at any time of the year.
Llanberis is dwarfed by the imposing Mount Snowdon; the highest mountain in England and Wales. Many walkers and climbers are drawn by the challenge of Snowdon, but it is also possible to experience the views from the summit by taking the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Llanberis is located in the Snowdonia National Park and offers other attractions for those interested in unspoilt scenery, abundant wildlife and the variety of activities offered by the great outdoors. For a more relaxed approach, Llanberis is well-served by restaurants, pubs and shops and there are a number of tourist attractions within a short drive, such as Caernarfon Castle and National trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd.

Bathrooms- lots of mould, in need of repairs, bedrooms- bedbugs in master bedroom, contacted the owner who lives next door and she sent pest control, all ok for one night then found them in the baby cot, had pest control back. The house needs a good clean in all aspects of the rooms. If the house had a deep clean I would stay there again.

Very close to Llanberis, just a 10 minute drive away. Very well suited for the whole family, adults, children and dogs. We all said we would love to come back.

We chose the property due to a 97 year old wheelchair user. Sadly she couldnât come, in the end there was 3 of us. From an accessibility point of view itâs brilliant. Iâm an Occupational therapist and there was space, walk in shower with shower chair/commode. Twin down stairs bedroom. Thereâs a wheelchair ramp leading to a front door if needed, however thereâs a small incline to the back door, which is the main entrance. Spacious kitchen and living room with four comfy sofas. We stayed upstairs and the bedrooms were very comfy too. We didnât cook, but thereâs was everything you needed. We ate out in Llanberis and the food was good. The view is breathtaking and will stay with me forever. The owners live next door, not that you would feel that. Lovely place, impressed by accessibility and really easy to get to Llanberis and north wales.
