The hot tub and wood burner are popular features, and the lodge is generally well-equipped and comfortable. Many guests appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful touches, though a few noted occasional lapses in cleaning and minor maintenance issues. The property is dog-friendly and provides a cosy atmosphere, making it ideal for couples or small families seeking relaxation. Overall, guests enjoyed their stays and would recommend the lodge, with only minor suggestions for improvement.

Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, especially the hot tub, but a few reported issues such as dog hairs, dust, and floors not being hoovered on arrival. These occasional lapses slightly detract from an otherwise positive impression.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Caernarfon and North Wales attractions, as well as its peaceful and private setting. Guests appreciated the easy walk into town and the secure, quiet environment.

Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, with a cosy bed and well-designed layout. Some mentioned the sofa was uncomfortable and noted minor noise from neighbouring cabins or the fire station, but overall comfort was rated highly.

Facilities such as the hot tub, wood burner, and kitchen were well received. Some guests noted issues with the induction hob pans, hot tub temperature on arrival, and minor maintenance needs, but most found the amenities met their needs.

Several guests mentioned thoughtful touches like a bottle of Prosecco and wood for the fire, which added to their experience. Please note, however, that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped kitchen and the bed was comfy. There was plenty of storage in the wardrobe in the bedroom and the bathroom was well lit, nice light up mirror and big shower area which also had great presure. Perfectly dog friendly, the gras area outside gave quick toilet acces, if there was a gate or fence that would be even better for peace of mind with nighttime toilet trips or to be able to leave the dog acces to outside when in the hot tub. The hot tub was good size but felt slightly overlooked by the house in front and lodges below, if the hot tub had a surround it may feel more private and relaxing. The location of the cottage was a convenient 10 minute walk into town centre which was great, only downside of the area was being next to the fire station for noise reasons, as we often heard an alarm going off. Also the garden around the cottages had maintenance at 10am Saturday which was a bit annoying for privacy/noise. Otherwise a lovely stay x

Padarn Lodge is so close to being excellent but just falls short of the mark. The location is excellent - it’s a 15 minute drive to Llanberis and an easy 10 minute walk into Caernarfon which is absolutely beautiful. Cwm Cadnant itself is quiet, private and peaceful. Nice touches in the lodge included a bottle of prosecco, cafetière and wood for the woodburner. However - half of the pans are not compatible with the induction hob so cooking was difficult. Access to the hot tub is across a slate chipping path which was uncomfortable to say the least - flip flops or even some paving slabs would solve this. The woodburner leaks in the rain so all of the wood got wet. One tiny towel each feels stingey - a second towel and a bathrobe would go a long way to making this a luxury experience. Two dishwasher tablets for a week was to be expected, but again, I can’t help feeling ripped off. Not a single bin bag provided seems especially cheap; and no washing up cloths either. I know this is pretty normal with self catering in the UK but constantly having to go to the supermarket because there’s another thing the accommodation doesn’t have gets tiring quickly.
