Once inside you’ll be greeted by an immaculate open plan living space with all your home comforts and more. Wander through the patio doors and step outside onto the two-tiered decking, where the sea view is truly mesmerising whatever the weather. You may even be lucky enough to spot a porpoise, or the rugged mountains of Snowdonia in the distance on a clear day.
Each of the tranquil bedrooms have been decorated to high standards with pocket sprung mattresses and quality furnishings, you’re sure to be guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep following a busy day’s adventure. On the first floor, there is a fabulous separate living room and the view from here is a sight to behold, you could almost be sat at the bow of a boat! You will not be disappointed staying at this exceptional property, a truly luxurious experience.
Within walking distance from the property there are various cafés, restaurants and bars to sit and watch the world go by, along with many independent shops to peruse. Criccieth castle is just a stone’s throw away and less than 15 miles away is the imposing unesco site of Harlech Castle. The pebble beach of Criccieth with its long sweeping bay and array of water sport activities is also nearby. Porthmadog, home to the famous Welsh Highland Railway and Snowdonia National park are only 5 miles from the doorstep. There really is something for everyone in this diverse region. Beach 500 yards. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 400 yards.

Criccieth is a fabulous place to stay, and the location directly on the seafront was breathtaking. The property, however, was disappointing in many ways. It was a bit of a shock to see a 'For Sale' sign outside on arrival ( a bit of warning would have been nice!). Once inside, the welcome pack consisted of a box of tea bags, a pack of Welsh cakes, and a pint of milk with a use by date on the day of arrival. There were no toiletries provided in either shower or bathroom (with the exception of handwash). There were no dishwasher tablets (an empty box) or soap powder/pods for the washing machine. We had to buy a battery in order to light the fire upstairs. And we also had to move furniture and put a bucket underneath the skylight when it rained. The lock on the front door was 'iffy' to say the least - you were never really sure it was going to unlock!On a positive, the beds were really comfortable and the views were always fantastic. This could be an amazing 5 star property with just a little more TLC.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here. We love reading in the fabulous conservatory overlooking the sea. Wonderful views. Property extremely clean and well equipped. Can’t wait to return.
