Guests say

Monarfon is a spacious and beautifully decorated property in Criccieth, praised for its cleanliness, superb location near the beach, and ample parking. It's an ideal base for exploring North Wales, with many guests recommending it for its comfort and modern amenities, despite some feedback on the need for better-equipped kitchens and additional curtains for privacy and light control.

The property is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its superb cleanliness. However, a few isolated incidents of uncleanliness were mentioned, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the seafront and town centre, with guests appreciating the easy access to local attractions and the coastal path.

Guests find the property comfortable overall, with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. However, some guests noted the need for better mattresses and curtains to block out early morning light, which impacted the comfort level.

While the property is appreciated for its space and modernity, several reviews suggest that the kitchen is under-equipped for the number of guests it accommodates. Additionally, there are mentions of maintenance issues like a faulty bathroom lock and the need for more storage in bedrooms.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the owner in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Very comfortable property in an ideal location but the house and garden needs to be better maintained and given more attention to cleanliness

  • Gareth

Despite issues we would use this property again .

  • Denis

Its proximity to the sea and town were an added bonus as well as the costal path. A trivial point maybe, but the plug in the en suite needs attention and a few light bulbs need replacing. All in all we have no complaints and enjoyed our holiday.
