Llanbedrog is a wonderful seaside village for a North Wales break, it has two pubs and the nearby beach has their own beach cafe, what more could you want?

The two pubs in the village, which also do food, serve all year round and the nearby Llanbedrog beach has it's own beach cafe. There is a Spar and a pharmacy close by, and a regular bus service to Abersoch and Aberdarron or East to Pwllheli and beyond.

With a range of sandy beaches, some within walking distance e.g Llanbedrog, Warren and Abersoch, what more could you want?

The superb location of the cottage provides easy access to both coastal and perhaps hill walking, cycling, sailing and a vast array of other attractions and activities upon the Llyn peninsula to suit all ages and tastes.

Perhaps soak up the sun at the three mile stretch of sand at Porth Neigwl or venture out to Bardsey Island, where you will be delighted by the interesting history and rich wildlife.

Brush up on the local history further by spending some time at Criccieth Castle which is set on the rocky peninsula overlooking Tremadog Bay.

Abersoch and Pwllheli are both easily accessible from here, they are popular seaside spots both with a good choice of shops, pubs and things to do.

A warming cottage in a great location for a beach break.

Llanbedrog is a small village that sits close to the sea as part of the Lleyn Peninsula. The beach here is extremely popular, benefiting from its southerly aspect. It offers huge expanses of fine sand with glorious views of Cardigan Bay. The shores are often visited by dolphins and porpoises and the sea is also popular for a variety of water-sports. Inland, the panorama is a stunning vista of rolling countryside and rugged Welsh hills. The Snowdonia National Park is within easy access, offering around 82 square miles of unspoilt scenery, which houses a diverse range of flora and fauna. Llanbedrog village also has its own hidden gems, such as Wales' oldest gallery, the Oriel Plas Glyn-Y-Weddw Arts Centre and St. Pedrog's 6th Century church.

There's a pub/restaurant about 150m away with a playground in it and outdoor seating. Garden was really lovely and had seating area and views of the sea. Worth walking up the iron man while there.

Generally furnished with old dated bits of odd furniture. Not very welcoming. The smell in the property caused me to question the cleanliiness. Very dirty oil filled heater on display, peeling wall paper in lounge, polystyrene ceiling tiles in bathroom, dirty blinds, food bits in dishwasher......i didnt like this. Clearly the property does not get checked regularly for standard and quality. Was asked to strip bed on departure due to covid regulations, but the owner has clearly not been following covid guidance. Provided feedback to the owner during my stay, who asked if she could send someone round, i couldnt confirm if i would be in. She asked if someone could call whilst i was out, i replied yes. No one came and no further communication from the owner. I would reccomend this property.
