For surfing and watersports, be sure to visit Abersoch with its popular sandy beaches and the nearby Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth), a stunning bay overlooked by the National Trust's Plas yn Rhiw, a 16th-century manor house. Just a scenic drive away is Pwllheli, home to a stunning sandy beach and marvellous views, as well as a regular market that has been running since the 14th century and is popular for its eclectic mix of art and craftworks, along with a smaller local produce market on Sundays.
