Trem Y Garn is a well-regarded cottage in Pwllheli, praised for its cleanliness, prime location near beaches and local amenities, and comfortable interiors. Guests appreciate the modern and cozy atmosphere, private garden, and thoughtful touches like quality bedding and a Christmas tree. Some minor issues with maintenance and facilities are noted, but overall, guests are very happy and often return for another stay.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy upon arrival. However, there are comments about the garden and outside areas needing attention, and a mention of dust on a bathroom shelf, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beautiful beaches, local pubs, and scenic walks. The convenience of the setting is consistently mentioned as a highlight, contributing to a very positive experience.
Guests find the property comfortable, with good quality bedding and a cozy environment. Some guests mention the beds being smaller than expected and issues with heating controls, indicating slight discomfort for some.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and private garden. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a stiff key safe, a cracked ceiling, and the need for better hot water supply and heating instructions.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures like a Christmas tree with lights, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

We felt at home immediately at this bungalow. All rooms were well furnished and full of light. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining table was of a good size. The bedding and towels were of a very good standard and added a touch of luxury. Trem Y Garn was ideal for our needs of walking the LLeyn Coast Path with a bus stop right at hand. It is well positioned for visiting the local shops, cafe and hotel restaurant too. We would be more than happy to return to this holiday accommodation.

Beds very comfortable but front bedroom needs window blinds/nets as overlooked by opposite & surrounding properties & passers-by, so dressing/undressing necessitated closed curtains! Living room furniture very comfortable but would also benefit from blinds/nets, & a bigger TV would be more appropriate for the size of the room. Kitchen equipment adequate but could do with some cups & serving spoons (none provided). As we always pick a property with both bath & shower, it was disappointing to find that, even after using the 'boost' facility, the hot water system only provided enough for 3-4 inches of hot bath water. Overall, we would recommend this property provided the above suggestions were taken into consideration.

It is such a perfect location for us. Very comfortable inside and quality furnishings and beds, bedding immaculate and nice thick towels provided. Everything you need apart from a dishwasher. To make it even better the addition of a hairdryer in one of the rooms would be greatâ¦..I mentioned this last year as well. On a safety aspect the shower is over the bath, there is nothing to hold on to when stepping in or out, I took my own bath mat this year as it can become quite slippyâ¦..but the addition of a grab handle on the wall would be of great benefit to stop slips and falls, especially if you are not very âyoungâ. The key safe outside is also very stiff so took my key out daily. All in all it wa a most comfortable stay, with the little âsnagsâ mentioned rectified it would be a fantastic one. Recommends are The Cliffs, Ty Coch and the Golf club bar/snacks. Still not had time to try the pub in Eden which is only half mile walk. Will definitely be back again. The weather was also very kind to us which makes your holiday even better.
