About this property

This homely retreat is nestled in one of North Wales' most popular seaside villages and with recent refurbishment is now one of few properties within the village with uninterrupted views of the famous Ty Coch Inn and sea views. It is surrounded by green fields, has off-road parking and access to the beach is 5 minutes walk. Happy Daze sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Morfa Nefyn in a tranquil and unique setting, allowing you to bring your family and friends to a wonderful part of Wales and truly make the most of a rural setting. Use the cosy lounge during your down time after one of your many adventures, and take in the views from the new picture window of the golf course and the Ty Coch Inn. There is a TV, an L-shaped sofa to kick back on, photographs of the local scenery and access to the back garden through the patio doors. Rustle up a hearty dinner in the compact, yet well-equipped kitchen and get the family together around the dining table, before later retiring to one of three bedrooms down the hallway. There is a family room for those travelling with children, along with a double and a twin room, each served by the family bathroom. Let the kids play on the lawn in the rear garden, as you prepare a picnic lunch to be had alfresco-style on a summer's afternoon. You have a lovely decked area enjoying the fabulous views, where you can have barbecues during the warmer months, washed down by a glass of whatever takes your fancy. From the front garden, you can see right over towards the Morfa Nefyn golf course and the Ty Coch Inn, which is arguably the best pub in Wales, and well worth a visit, hosting stunning vistas across the Irish Sea. Enjoy a rewarding, circular walk along the spectacular Llyn Peninsula to Porthdinllaen, an outstanding wildlife haven and historic trail, evidencing unfinished sea defences and a ship-building site from the 1830s. You are in easy reach of Abersoch with its golden sands and Pwllheli with its traditional seaside amenities, for lovely trips out with the family. Further afield are the wonders of Snowdonia National Park and the spectacular isle of Anglesey, a fantastic location for a holiday and a quality base to return to at the end of each day.

The village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, with a two-mile stretch of beach, a Post Office, a village shop with a café, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn has plenty more, while the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch make a lovely day out. You have the whole of the coast, the Snowdonia National Park, National Trust walks and remote bays, as well as the Isle of Anglesey, plenty to satisfy many different tastes and ages.

My only issue at all was the direct sunlight shining into our eyes which we could not block due to no curtains in the living room. Would absolutely book again. Enjoyed by a family of 7.

The house was very spacious, warm and comfortable which was perfect for our family of five and really well equipped. The beach was within walking distance which was so handy not having to find parking every day, as was the local pub. The children loved the large spacious garden to run around in and especially loved feeding the neighbours horses every day. We loved it here and can’t wait to go back again.
