Guests consistently praise Moel Yr Wyn for its stunning views, cleanliness, and excellent facilities, including a warm swimming pool and spacious garden. The property is well-equipped, offering a comfortable stay for families and pets. The location, while remote, provides a peaceful retreat with scenic walks. A welcome pack adds a thoughtful touch, though its provision may vary.
Reviews frequently commend the property's cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as spotless and tidy. One review mentioned areas that had been overlooked, but this seems to be an isolated comment.
The property's location is celebrated for its spectacular views and tranquillity. It is noted as remote, which is appreciated by some for its peacefulness, though it requires travel on narrow country roads.
The comfort of the property is highlighted, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. There is a mention of the beds and pillows needing an upgrade, but overall, the sentiment is positive.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the swimming pool and well-equipped kitchen. However, there are comments about the pool's chlorine levels and temperature, and some minor maintenance issues with doors.
While guests have mentioned a welcome pack, it is not clear if this is a consistent offering for all stays. Therefore, while it indicates thoughtfulness, it cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

The house itself was immediately likeable and the owners had presented it well. The dining area was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. The reason we chose this place was for the pool and that was truly excellent. The garden and views were wonderful. The patio and decking area was really good. There were lots of places to sit outside and take in the scenery. I felt the beds, pillows, duvets and bed linen could do with an upgrade but that would be my only criticism. The modern digital showers were easy to use and very efficient, but they weren't in every bedroom. All in all this is a great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining.

10 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs. On first impressions the property looked clean and tidy, however the "nooks and crannies" had been neglected. The selling point for me when booking was the outdoor bbq and the swimming pool. The pool area was warm but the water was cold, making it untenable for an 18month baby. Even the adults only tried it once. The bbq was not fit for purpose and quite clearly had not been cleaned for a long time, so our plans for a bbq were dashed. There is a small step from the dining area to the tv area which is not easy to see, in fact upon arrival I fell off it, not injured. However our great grandson, fell up it and banged his head on a dining chair, splitting his eyebrow open which bled profusely and he was taken to Pwllheli minor injuries and then to Bangor hospital, a journey of over 2 hours in great distress, where they sealed it with butterfly stitches. The location and house itself was nice, but the things mentioned really need addressing and the description of amenities should actually reveal what is "working and available" On a positive note the bedrooms were nice and the beds very comfortable, there was coffee, bread, butter and marmalade waiting on our arrival, which was very nice.
