Step out onto the private decking to soak up the last of the sun with your favourite tipple in hand before tucking the kids into the fun twin room. Then head for some well-earned rest and relaxation in the king-size room with handy en-suite cloakroom, or the twin; both rooms are serviced by a family shower room. Rest up ready for another fun-filled day in North Wales. Moondunes lies a short drive from local stores to ease your self-catered stay and is a short walk from Y Madryn, a pub serving delicious food and a variety of beers and ales. Chwilog is a tiny village in North Wales, on the Llyn Peninsula, not far from Snowdonia National Park, in an area known for its beautiful landscapes and plethora of hiking opportunities. One mile from the coast, the Afon Wen river flows through the village on its way to the sea. Criccieth, located just a short drive away, is a charming seaside town that boasts a castle built in the 13th century that is perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia Mountains. The town's two beaches are perfect for watersports, and the nearby Snowdonia National Park is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Spend your time lounging in one of the many pubs, restaurants, or tea rooms while sampling some of the local fare (including the world-famous Cadwalader's ice cream) or taking a stroll along the beach and watching the porpoises play in the waves. Stop by Abersoch, a picturesque harbour town sandwiched between two beautiful bays. During the summer, it hosts some of the most prestigious sailing regattas in all of North Wales. In addition to the world-famous surfing at Hell's Mouth, watersports such as windsurfing, water skiing, and dinghy sailing are also readily available. Further afield are Harlech Castle, Pwllheli host to European and world sailing events, Caernarfon Castle, beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses. Portmeirion, with its wonderful Italianate gardens, unique shops and restaurants, and the Ffestiniog railway, is also nearby.

    Comfortable furnishings, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely enclosed terrace with furniture. Quiet and peaceful site. Highly recommended.

    The main bedroom was lovely and super comfty.Outside space and enclosed decking was great for the dogs too and really pleasant park lovely and quiet and could hear the moo cows and lots of bird watching. The van itself it really well appointed minutes from the Beach and a short drive to Criccieth, Porthmadog, llanbedrog and Boryh Y Gest was particularly special for its beaches. The coastline up at Cwt tatws was absolutely stunning, on a beautiful day you wouldn’t t want to be anywhere else in the world. Thanks for having us and would definitely return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    There were plenty of attractions and lovely scenery. Patio area was a sun trap late afternoon, evening and safe for our 2 small dogs meaning we could leave caravan door open with no risk of them making an escape. Caravan site was quiet and well maintained.
