The house is in the centre of the village, with the Spar, pub and beach all a short walk away. The house has everything you would need for a week away and the kitchen is very well equipped. The smart switches are great once you work out how to use them, you can have music while you shower! We will definitely be back.

We would not have booked it if we had known it was not working. Also lack of clothing space on the first floor. It was quite a novelty to live in a smart house.

This was resolved but only by me contacting myself, the owner told them about the issue but Sykes did not make any attempt to contact me. We also did not recieve any welcome information prior to arriving so i had to make contact on the way to ensure we could get into the property. The property is lovely, very homely and comfortable but we did find rubbish under the beds and lots of areas were dusty and had not been cleaned well. We had an issue with the freezer as it was not working for the first 3 days so we lost food, nearer the end of the week it was better but still not able to keep all food frozen. We loved the garden it is a lovely place for children to play especially the trampoline. We all slept well and the beds were very comfortable. We used the BBQ twice with no issues. The area is nice, very quiet and lots of shops and pubs nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Overall we had a lovely stay, it is a shame the hot tub has been removed and the poor communication from Sykes. The owner of the house was very accommodating when I made contact.
