This lovely holiday property is in a rural location, on the Llŷn Peninsula, and enjoys a stunning outlook over the dramatic sea and shoreline, boasting its own blissful hot tub. This detached, former farmhouse offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation, with the added benefit of parking for four cars and one boat. Sitting just a short stroll from the beautiful little Porth Colmon harbour and beach, with its own slipway belonging to the owner of the farmhouse, where small boats can be launched. In season, freshly caught lobsters and crabs can be purchased from the local fisherman and occasional visitors include dolphins and seals. A scenic cliff-top walk takes you to the uncrowded golden sands of Treath Penllach, a relatively unknown part of the Peninsula whilst the village of Aberdaron is 6 miles away. Lively Pwllheli, which offers shops, pubs and restaurants, 11 miles away. Beach 50 yards. Shop (seasonal) ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and general condition of the property. I would like to thank the cleaner who came out to us on Friday evening , however slightly concerned when she told me she’d cleaned it on the previous Monday, we arrived on Friday 28 August and that there was a hoover if I wanted to use it??????When we arrived, it was clear that the cottage had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. There was dirt and grime in various areas, dog hair on floor, dead flies in conservatory as well as window sills around the cottage. The dirt in fridge was awful to point I cleaned it before I put in any food. Cutlery , crockery and glasses were dirty with food and wine stains. The property generally was poorly looked after, extremely dated, living area was dark & there was a damp thru out particularly in bathroom , shower tiles were dirty with hair still on them , the ceilings in bathroom was falling down with paint coming off the walls. We we’re excited for the hot tub however the general safety around was broken, the decking had holes which were covered with large rocks. The safety of this area was awful. To point it was used twice before we thought we might have an accident or be extremely hurt. This really affected our enjoyment of the stay, particularly as we had paid to stay somewhere that we expected to be clean, comfortable and well maintained.I appreciate that things can occasionally be missed, but there were enough issues for us to feel that the property had not been properly cleaned or checked before our arrival.We made Steve the owner aware of this because, unfortunately, the condition of the cottage fell well below what we expected and, in our opinion, what should be reasonably expected from a holiday rental. He has therefore offered us a partial refund. I would appreciate you taking these concerns seriously and letting me know how you will compensate us.I do have pictures. Kind regards Claire

We love the location and area and will be back! The cottage is wonderfully located near the Porth and beach. The cottage decor is now quite tired and needs a modernisation. The kitchen wasn't very clean and also the living room carpet. Also the WIFI was very patchy and I believe that there is full fiber in the area but this property didn't have it and was sharing a router with other properties so the connection was often poor.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location with great walks and rock pools for the kids! The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after exploring. While not spotless, it was clean enough, and we enjoyed the quiet, private-feeling beach. Local pubs are a short drive, and Criccieth and Snowdon offer more to explore within an hour. We recommend planning activities in advance, as internet connectivity was unavailable throughout our stay. Despite communication with the host, the issue remained unresolved during our visit. Please note there is no condiments. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! We would visit again.
