Set in a rural location in the village of Llangwnadl on the picturesque Llyn Peninsula, this detached holiday property is just 1½ miles from the nearest sandy beach and is set in large lawned gardens. With plenty of footpaths locally, there is much to explore including the beautiful coastline and the pretty village of Aberdaron. The National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw is a short drive away, and the property is equidistant from Pwllheli, with its weekly market, and Abersoch. Also worth a visit is Criccieth with its historic castle. The spectacular mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park is also easily accessible. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 7 miles.

We had a family Christmas here and highly recommend this cottage. The downstairs bedroom and wet room were ideal for my elderly mum. We were left so many treats and the kitchen was superbly equipped. The espresso machine complete with milk frother was an unexpected bonus. We loved the choice of beaches and cafes that were within close driving distance. Coastal scenery so beautiful. Had such a lovely time.

Absolutely amazing place. Had everything we could have needed. The house is big but still cosy and very comfy. Rhos y grug was spotless on arrival and clear instructions on what to do with everything. The location was great for us over bonfire night as not a single firework could be heard (dogs are terrified of them), Nice garden for the dogs to sniff around in although had to go out with them as both our dogs could jump over the wall onto the road if they wanted to. Comfy sofas, comfy beds and bonus of a dryer for the rainy days

Wonderful place to stay. All you could wish for comfort wise and equipment. It was spotless. You can travel to both sides of the peninsula from the cottage, fantastic scenery. Our dogs enjoyed it too. Thank you
