Guests say

The Nook in Tywyn is highly praised for its prime location near the beach, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped accommodation, thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, and the property's proximity to local amenities. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Reviews consistently mention that The Nook is very clean, with specific praise for the bathroom's cleanliness. One review suggests some areas could be freshened up, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standards noted by guests.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, being across from the beach and within easy walking distance of local attractions. The convenience of parking and accessibility by train also contribute to the high rating.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the property described as cosy and welcoming. However, a few guests mention the beds being too firm or uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are considered well-equipped and adequate for a pleasant stay. Some guests suggest improvements such as the addition of a washer dryer and better kitchenware, and there are mentions of maintenance issues like window drafts and a need for a ramp.

Guests often mention and appreciate the thoughtful gestures such as welcome cakes and fresh milk. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to availability and are not guaranteed for every stay.

The hot water in the shower no where near hot enough.

  • Fiona

Appreciated the extra touches (cake and milk). Only negative comment is that 4.30 is very late for a check-in.

  • Eric

Only criticism was plenty of pan lids, but only one pan and that had two bad cracks in it
