Cefn Gelli is close to the small hamlet of Llawhaden where you will find the remains of Llawhaden Castle perched high overlooking the Eastern Cleddau River with some fantastic views. A visit to the resort town of Tenby would not be complete without a memorable boat trip to the island of Caldey, where visitors can share the serenity of the Cistercian monks, who have made this holy island home for hundreds of years. For a family day out, visit the awarding-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Heatherton and Folly Farm, all within a 20-minute drive. Outdoor activities at Llys-y-Frân Lake just 3¾ miles away include both water and land-based recreational fun including sailing, kayaking, canoeing stand up paddle and pedal boarding, cycling, Pump Skills Track, bike hire, axe and knife throwing, how to fire a crossbow or have a go at archery. Also Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Frizbee Golf Course. The owners of this delightful property are dairy farmers nearby and offer guided tours of the farm to meet the animals and see where milk is produced (to be arranged directly with the owner). There is a lockable garden shed at the property for bikes and any other outdoor equipment that may need storing during your stay.

Beautiful accommodation, gorgeous location, fantastic owners. The house was clean and modern with EVERYTHING you could need for a family getaway. The owner was incredibly helpful and even arranged a tour of his farm for our little boy. It’s in the middle of nowhere so absolutely perfect for a ‘countryside retreat’. 10/10

Cefn Gelli is situated outside Narbeth. We spotted some local walks but the weather was so bad we didn’t explore any of them. You do need a vehicle to get further afield. The cottage is really lovely with plenty of space for a large group. It is well equipped and there were plenty of towels available for you to be able to use one for the hot tub and one for showering etc. There were good instructions regarding recycling, operating equipment and the hot tub. The owner Dan popped in to see us after arrival and was a very friendly person. The views from the hot tub were lovely and it was also wonderful to relax in the warmth of the bubbling water watching the stars above. Certainly a place we would recommend and hope to revisit ourselves,
