Curlew House is a beautifully positioned semi-circular contemporary building hidden within a timeless National Park. The house is set on the banks of an expansive tidal estuary flanked by woodlands of Oak and Ash, facing south and west over an unspoilt river with huge open views of sky and water. Upon entering the house, the impressive staircase will stun you as it drops 5.5 meters away to the ground floor, framed by a huge panel of glass and double doors that lead out onto a large terrace. Four bedrooms start from a curved corridor at this upper level. The master bedroom at one end of the hallway benefits from fabulous double-aspect views that can be enjoyed from your super king size bed, as well as a private balcony and en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath. The second principal bedroom is situated at the other end of the house and benefits from double-aspect views of the estuary and a smaller terrace, it is a twin bedroom that can also be set up as a super king, just please make us aware at the time of booking how you would like it configured.The en-suite in this bedroom also benefits from a separate shower and bath. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a king-size bed, estuary views and an en-suite shower room. All the bedrooms have generous hanging space. There is a fabulous open-plan room which unfolds at the bottom of the main staircase into a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar with seating for four. This wide spacious room is wrapped around an internal wall with a hidden galley and open to the dining room with a beautiful oak table with seating for eight people. A beautifully appointed family sitting room with a large TV and a separate study. The family sitting room has two generous sofas as well as three deep armchairs in which to relax and watch television or play a game or just simply to enjoy the view. On this last lower level is a bright and inviting sunroom which doubles as a second sitting area, overlooking the pool and connecting seamlessly with the living and dining space. It features a convenient kitchenette and a cosy wood burning stove, perfect for use from mid September to the end of April. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own matches, firelighters, and wood. Impressive sliding doors open onto a spacious terrace featuring a solar-heated swimming pool, perfect for cooler water swimming before unwinding in the sauna and hot tub. Just beyond, the hot tub is nestled among the rocks near the river, offering a peaceful retreat where you can admire the fabulous sunsets that unfold throughout the year. The sauna is available from mid September to the end of April — the perfect complement to a refreshing dip in the cooler pool during these months. For keen walkers, there are several lovely routes on your doorstep in Cosheston, leading to the Cleddau Estuary shoreline, or Upton Castle Gardens, recognised as one of Pembrokeshire’s hidden gems. Further afield, relax upon the sandy shores at Tenby, Broad Haven or Saundersfoot, visit Milford Haven Museum for a taste of history, get creative at In House Crafts, or book tickets for a local theatre performance at Torch Theatre, whilst Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo is also accessible by car, perfect for a thrilling day out. Great memories can be made in Pembrokeshire, by choosing Curlew House as your abode.

Discover the 13th Century St. Govan’s Chapel, huddled into the cliffs of the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park, and the pretty lily ponds at nearby Bosherston. With the Dinosaur Experience and the colourful resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot within easy reach, there really is something for everyone at this fabulous location.

Please note that the sauna heating operates for 1.5 hours per day, with a warm-up time of approximately 20 minutes, the sauna may continue to be enjoyed long after the heating has turned off by simply adding water to the coals.
