Cowslip Cottage is highly praised for its comfort, peacefulness, and thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and wine. Guests enjoy the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, and the property's suitability for both adults and children. The rural setting offers tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, despite some comments about flies and late check-in times.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with guests expressing satisfaction with the level of cleanliness upon arrival. There is a single mention of flies, which is common in rural settings and does not seem to detract significantly from the overall experience.
The location is appreciated for its peaceful rural setting and convenience for exploring Pembrokeshire. While some guests mention the property being on a working farm, this aspect contributes to the authentic countryside experience and is not viewed negatively.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the quality bedding and spaciousness. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level. However, a few guests noted the upstairs can become quite warm, which suggests room for improvement in temperature management.
The facilities, including the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and additional items for children, are generally praised. However, there are a few remarks about Wi-Fi issues and the need for better outdoor lighting, which indicates some areas could benefit from attention.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome gifts of wine and fresh eggs, although it's noted that such gestures are a bonus and may vary. The provision of items like a high chair and stair gate for children also reflects considerate hosting.

Very peaceful considering we were staying on a working farm.beds are extremely comfortable and furnished with good quality linen. Three bathrooms really helped when the six of us were getting ready to go out.the kitchen is well stocked with the basic cookware but also lots of extra serving dishes..Claire made us feel very welcome even though it was a busy time of year on the farm. The fresh eggs are delicious and available to buy if you need more.we would definitely recommend Cowslip cottage and hope to come back soon.
