The accommodation was clean and well appointed with lots of kitchen utensils. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice view through the window. The property was made by the hot tub which we used every day even when it was raining. We didn't get to walk locally as the weather wasn't brilliant so we didn't get to see the lakes. The road would not be safe to walk. There is a pub about 3 miles away called the pump on the green. Went there twice during the week after we found it by accident. Would highly recommend a visit, very nice food and friendly staff. My wife being coeliac was impressed by the choice of gluten free options on the menu. Overall we were looking for a quiet break and that was what we got. The owner is very pleasant and was available if needed. If you like horses there are stables close by.

The cottage was clean, well maintained and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable and it was so peaceful. Julie the owner greeted us on our first day, lovely woman, gave us lots of recommendations on where to go and places to eat.
