Priory Stile is a beautiful cottage with a lovely enclosed garden adjoining the Haverfordwest Priory ruins. The cottage was full of thoughtful touches that made our stay with two dogs all the easier. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked most nights. We enjoyed the log burner in the main living room and we found the sun room as a useful extra room in which to do a jigsaw. The owners, Ruth and Mike, were very responsive and we had a great stay. I would recommend the nearby (2 minutes walk) pub called the Bristol Trader for Sunday lunch which was both good quality and good value. This is a great location to explore Pembrokeshire and we were out on different beaches with the dogs most days.

This is a great place to stay. The house and gardens have the feel of a well loved and maintained home with multiple thoughtful touches throughout. The situation leaves you well placed for a base to explore Pembrokeshire and yet within easy walking distance of local amenities in Haverfordwest. Weather (December) meant that we couldn't fully enjoy the garden but it too is a thoughtful and useful extension of a holiday venue. This is not a rural property and yet we weren't disturbed in any way by the setting on the edge of town and could still appreciate the neighbouring river and Priory ruins. The photographs and descriptions are a very fair reflection of this venue. We had a lovely stay visiting family in the area. The owners were very friendly and responded promptly to any enquiry or request. Would happily recommend it and hope to return.
