Bring your family to this large detached property, originally two separate cottages which have melded together to form a homely, child-friendly base. Make your way through the tall, lush trees onto the spacious driveway where the cottage spreads across two acres of land, and onto an enchanting stone fort children's playhouse containing an open air theater and seats, where kids and even some adults can delve into an enchanted woodland fantasy, as well as ample space for boat, trailer, kayak and bike storage. Making your way to the entrance, you'll find a front suntrap with garden furniture, a peaceful spot to drink a cup of tea and read the morning paper. This welcoming cottage is filled with quirky seaside and boating decor in nearly every room, including paintings, anchors and stories of the Victorian coastline. Unwind in the snug open-plan living area, a room bursting with a homely family feel and country house decor, here you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, spacious family dining area, and large lounge with plenty of plush sofas, a TV and a decorative fireplace. The multiple bedrooms and living areas allowed everyone to have their own space while also enjoying communal activities. The location of the property was perfect. It easy access to nearby attractions. We enjoyed several hikes and visits to local landmarks. The property was clear upon our arrival. The large garden was fantastic. We enjoyed the outdoor space, which was well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. There are enough parking space for 5 cars. In general, our overall experience at Wales was wonderful. The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for a large group like ours. We created many memorable moments and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this property to other large families or groups looking for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday home.

He certainly was an amazing person who loved family. Our only complaint was that the house is rather dark - which we understand to be due to the terms of the planning permission, so couldn't be helped. But fact is that it was really hard to read in bed as the bedside lamps inadequate and some of us didn't take torches. One read in the bathroom before turning in!! As painters, it was't possible to paint indoors so we were grateful the weather was good! Otherwise characterful and comfortable.
